MV OCEAN BROTHER, arrived in August 2018 in Constanta Shipyard, in order to perform several repair works and specific docking works.  The main works being the following:

• Regular dry dock works: anchor chains cleaning, sea chest cleaning, sea valves overhauling, rudder clearances measurements, tailshaft wear down, anodes renewal;

• External hull treatment : total area 8 895 sqm ( HPFW washing, gritblasting SA1 + SA2, T/U and F/C multiple coats painting);

• Hatch cover treatment : total area 2 740 sqm ( HPFW washing, gritblasting SA1 + SA2, T/U and F/C multiple coats painting);

• Cargo Hold treatment : total area 11 654 sqm ( HPFW washing, gritblasting SA1 + SA2, T/U and F/C multiple coats painting);

• Steel works : up to 200 t ( located in cargo holds, hatch coaming, cross deck)

• Various electrical and mechanical works: bearings overhauling, winch overhauling; electric motors overhauling; load test of lifeboats and davits;

Finally, the ship left the Shipyard, upon completion of repairs according to the contractual terms, to the full satisfaction of her Owners.
