Between 1–4 September 2026, SMM Hamburg once again brought together the international maritime community to address the key challenges and opportunities shaping the industry — from maritime security and resilient supply chains to energy efficiency, new propulsion technologies, artificial intelligence and autonomous systems. With more than 50,000 participants from 134 nations, SMM 2026 achieved record attendance. Around 2,300 exhibiting companies from 66 countries presented their solutions across more than 90,000 square meters in twelve exhibition halls. For four days, Hamburg became the meeting point of the global maritime community. Business opportunities were explored, new connections were established and, along the way, the industry came together to celebrate the common values and ambitions that connect us. Throughout the event, one message stood out clearly: the shipping industry moves forward through collaboration. The Constanta Shipyard team, comprising six professionals from top management as well as commercial, technical and logistics departments, ensured a comprehensive representation of the shipyard’s activities in both newbuilding and ship repair. The connections and discussions initiated during SMM 2026 will continue to contribute to the development of business relationships and international collaboration in the years ahead. We were also pleased to have the support of our colleagues from HISTRIA SHIPMANAGEMENT, whose presence completed the Group’s representation at the event.
