One of our closer & traditional Greek client, continued the lasting cooperation during 2023 too, ordering several DD & repairs projects to Constanta Shipyard.

Amongst them, M/T SEARUNNER, had a specific scope of works related to rudder, where an extensive and accurate intervention of Shipyard's mechanical team, fully assisted by Client's supervision, lead to a successful project.

The main scope of works consisted of:

• Normal docking works: annodes renewal (o/s), valves o/h, anchor chains ranging/cleaning/marking, rudder clearances & retrofitting works, remove/refit & tail shaft wear down measurements;

• Treatment and painting:

- External hull treatment: HPFW 250 bar washing up to 15,595 sqm, grit blasting to SA1/SA2 or hydro-blasting to an equivalent grade up to 2,339 sqm, conventional paint application: 2T/U + 2F/C of paint application;

- Propeller painting with silicon.

• Mechanical and electrical works: Cargo and ballast pump o/h (2 pcs); PV Valves o/h (15 pcs); Electrical motors o/h (7 pcs);

• Miscellaneous: Ozone tank remove/refit (1 tk); Boiler pressure gauge calibration (3 pcs);

• Staging: up to 1,000 cbm.
