- IMO TYPE 3 Product/Chemical Tanker 41,000 dwt – a 21 vessels series in fabrication on SNC between 2005 - 2013. Our job is to perform maintenance and changes of the project according to different owner requirements and also according to the IMO rules/regulations changes. Software used are Tribon M3 and AutoCad. On top of this we are providing all the manuals requested by SOLAS, Marpol, ILO and other related IMO regulations, including the vessel’s Loading Computer Software.

Project started in 2010. Currently we are in process of complete re-design of the hull and propulsion system of the previous vessel build in SNC between 2005-2012 in line with the new CSR Rules for tankers and lately Eco-Design trend on the market. This consists on new body lines for decreased water resistance and implementation of the new propulsion philosophy based on low speed/long stroke new technology development for Main Engines. Expected gains are evaluated to 20% in terms on fuel consumption related to the classic design.

Project started in 2007 and putted on hold in 2009 after complete Class Approval process and abt.75% development of Detail Design & Prod. Info documentation.
Restart in 2011 in line with the new Eco-Design trend on the market consisting in new body lines for decreased water resistance and implementation of the new propulsion philosophy based on low speed/long stroke new technology development for Main Engines. Tank tests performed in 2nd quarter of 2012 revealing an improvement in terms of power/fuel consumption of 21/18%.
